Converts to Toddler Bed
The Cristallo Forever Crib is designed to convert into a grand toddler bed. The toddler rail is available separately and it is recommended that you purchase this item with your crib to make sure you have it in the future. The toddler rail is recommended to be used with most children at 2-3 years of age. As they start to climb over the headboard the toddler rail can be added to the front of the crib (in place of the footboard) to start promoting good habits in letting your child learn how to get in and our of their bed on their own. The toddler rail setting is both safe, practical, and educational for your child.
Soft-Close Drawer Tracks
All of the Cristallo case pieces come with a 100% solid wood drawerbox construction with English dovetail joints. This is the strongest and most durable construction for a drawerbox. The drawers are also outfitted with a Soft-Close or Auto-Close drawer track. Simply push the drawer toward the opening of the piece, and it will catch on its own and slowly retract into the case automatically. This is the highest quality drawer glide available for nursery furniture. These drawers also allow parents to close the drawer quietly when baby is sleeping in the nursery.
Converts to Full-Size Bed
Once your child is ready for a big bed, the Pali Cristallo Crib easily coverts into a full-size bed. There is a Conversion Kit available separately that comes with matching bed rails which allows this crib to adjust in size using the headboard and footboard of the crib. What's nice is that this collection will continue growing with your child over time. This collection also transforms into a grand toddler bed with the toddler rail, which is also available separately. We strongly encourage ordering the conversion rails with the purchase of your crib or nursery set so that you have this piece to convert in the future.
